Bidrage med feedbackWhat an amazing rice plate! The pieces of the pork chops were large and tasteful. You can smell it on the streets as they grill the meat before the store. Not all cANGm t-accounters are the same. This was one of the most unforgettable, in all the cities we visited. Every bite was delicious, including broth on the side. I have to eat an iced tea. I'd always come to Vietnam. The service was fast and the price was reasonable.
Worth the hype! Super busy place but service was fast. We heard an earlier reviewer and shared the pigeon/cam and one side of rice because they give you so much meat! The star of the show was definitely the ****. We also have the Kanu-Kho-Qua, which was refreshing. I would pass on all the other meats, but would definitely come back for the pork chop.
No ruffles. Efficient. Flavorful . Order number 2 (poor rib fried egg) and number 5 (the mixing plate). Pig meat was grilled and flavoured for perfection. Extra rice on request. The prices were 80k and 110k Dong. If you can resist the humidity and heat, this restaurant embodies the Vietnamese Street Food culture full of taste.
As with other reviews, the portions were huge and the pork was delicious! We ordered a number 2 and 5, but think something was mixed and ended with two 5’s. We also had 2 icy teas, came to abbot 280k Baht. Would recommend the mixed plates, as the meatball with which it comes was also delicious. Also take a bite of green chili with each spoon! The waiters were also super chill, although we couldn't speak Vietnamese. It is not a Frills Coffee Shop, highly recommended!
In Saigon there are many foods to eat, but one of the most well known dishes is cơm tấm, a pile of steamed broken rice with a marinated and grilled pork chop on top. While the dish is available at countless street food stalls and restaurants throughout the city, nowhere is more famous than Com Tam Ba Ghien. It served a plate of broken rice topped with a massive pork chop, a slice of Vietnamese meatloaf, shredded pig skin and meat, and finally a runny egg. It was every bit as delicious as it sounds, and more. The pork was tender, sweet, and salty, the meatloaf was soft and peppery, and the egg added ever more richness to everything. I guarantee this won’t be one of the healthiest Vietnamese meals you eat, but it will definitely put a smile on your face with every bite. And last thing to mention is the price, expensive than usual, you have to pay average 70 to 80,000 VND for a plate. For an awesome plate of com tam suon nuong in Saigon, Com Tam Ba Ghien is legendary.
