Cafe Rouge Hitchin

The lunch was enjoyable. The service seemed disinterested. The atmosphere was relaxed.

A group of 6 of us dine together every Wednesday evening, and we frequently choose Café Rouge in Hitchin as our spot. Given that it was Valentine's night this past Wednesday, we opted for the special menu, which we found to be quite enjoyable. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the service was not impacted.

The food at Hitchin Cafe Rouge is consistently of a very high standard. I am aware that some elements are pre-prepared, which is why I am giving it a 4-star rating.

Visiting Café Rouge in Hitchin is always a good experience. Good food, great value and friendly efficient staff. I use this restaurant regularly and take friends who have never experienced it.

We had the twice baked soufflé, which was delightful, followed by excellent fillet steak. The service was good .
