The Coach Horses

Hugely disappointing night in the coach and horse. 3 meals were sent back and one side onion rings. Customer service wasn't great either. It won't come back.

Delicious food and friendly service from Megan. Special mention to the kitchen staff for rustling up a pudding despite theoretically having been closed for service at that point! Will be back

Came here with my family a few days ago and was welcomed as soon as we walked in. Atmosphere was lovely, service was prompt and polite and food was delicious. Defo recommend ! Also has a lovely garden but we stayed in the restaurant to...eat

We visited the coach today for my mother in the birthday contract of the law. What a cozy atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My legal father has considerable mobility problems. We were able to park near the entrance in the disabled area, the access was easy and the waitress came to help us. The restaurant is immaculately clean and has a beautiful environment. The staff was polite, professional and very friendly. Service was super, timely and competent. Our waitress was amazing, like bar staff and cook. Food was brilliant, fresh, well cooked, beautifully presented and hot. Portions are very generous. Many diversity in offer and special requests were no problem at all. We were checked by staff and drinks when ordered were served immediately at the table. My mother-in-law was treated by the staff to rebirth the birthday and even presented with a candle in their desert. A wonderful afternoon. We will definitely visit again.

Booked for romantic occasion, couples night, like parents not so often! Sat in large room with kitchen, with two other pairs overall. No atmosphere, as no music played, we were all whispered as we could hear the words of the other. Planned for special 3 courses for £30. Very small shrimps looked like they had been through a mincer, had lost the original shape, no sauce, except water in shrimps. Incapable of eating due to rough texture and gum, back to waitress that apologises. Mixed grill, was just the roasted meat. No taste. Dry. Lambry had a heavy but small meat portion. Ditched pudding idea as eating disappointment, no atmosphere and all couples had left! So two drinks, two appetizers, two main £70 spent in 80 minutes; they calculated for the shrimps despite feeding back. Should have stayed home. Not pleasant. It was like the place shouldn't be open, but the lights were up when you know what I mean. Don't come back!
