Great China Takeaway

This restaurant is absolutely amazing in every aspect. It is not only the best in the area, but also the best in Leicestershire. The shrimp curry and rice dish is fantastic. If you are looking for the best, look no further.

On March 26, 2023, I ordered delivery from this restaurant. It used to be excellent, especially the Duck in black bean sauce/peppers/garlic. However, I was disappointed to find that the sauce was watery and lacked the rich flavor it used to have. The duck looked unappetizing and grey, and the overall quality of the dish seemed to have declined. Even though the portions have been reduced and prices have not increased, the quality of Great China has unfortunately decreased. I may have to end our relationship due to the availability of higher quality options out there.

Never have i been unable to cut lemon chicken before. I don 't know how or what they have done but the chicken is un-cuttable never mind inedible. On phoning to complain, was offered 50% off next time......!!! I get its a cold quiet Wednesday but come on. Disgusting. Disgusted and definitely not returning. There is no great at this Chinese

We ordered food for New Year's (2020, when we all stayed home). The food was amazing, with fabulous quality, hot and delivered promptly. This is the best Chinese takeout we've had in years.

We had a Chinese last night from Great China in Ratby following it reopening at the weekends and it was quite honestly the nicest Chinese we’ve ever had ever! The beef chow mein was incredible, the chilli and salt chips we’re crispy and delicious. The chicken satay on skewers we’re amazing and the bbq ribs were fantastic. Not one bad word to say about it and we ate the entire lot, every single bit!
