Don's Grill - Hilo

This is a great diner style of food. Very clean and wonderfully fresh. You are waiting to sit outside the door and Sanitizer is provided to sanitate your hands when entering. The waitress is all friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly and the drinks were constantly refilled. The side salad was not permanent and wrapped, they put it together when it was ordered. All fresh ingredients. The price is one of the best in the area and you get a wealth of food. I'd be a normal place.

Great place. We ordered in the takeout window and the service was phenomenal. I have the Teriyaki chicken and baked shrimp combination plate. Unbelievable food and much of it at the price! I highly recommend it.

Great service with great food! Reuben Sandwich was delicious and the Koleslaw on the side was so good (sweeter than other Koleslaw I had before). The chicken casar salad was so fresh and beautiful with the piece garlic bread.

Great comfort food, great service and much less crowded than nearby cafes! I recommend the Loco moco with egg “over easy”, make sure that the egg yolk runs on the meat and rice! Double Loco Moco only if you are *real* hungry.

A nice restaurant with friendly staff. We had delicious Ruben sandwiches here yesterday, with French fries and Cole slaw. I thought the Cole slaw was delicious long very thinly sliced cabbage with a very sweet dressing too sweet for Terri but I really liked it. The Rubens were very tender and delicious, served on fresh toasted bread. Very nice!
