Abv Public House - Hillsboro

Been meaning to write a review of ABV for a while. This is not your normal burger joint. ABV features a wonderful menu with many options including things for vegetarian and vegans. The food here is exceptional and while its a bit higher priced than some other local restaurants, well you get what you pay for. I highly recommend their Nashville Chicken sandwich for those who enjoy spice. It's my hands down favorite sandwich anywhere. In a normal world, this place gets very busy, but its worth the wait. The manager Dan does a great job of running this restaurant as well. His staff is courteous and good at their jobs. The kitchen staff are all at the front of the house and you can see them working their butts off in a very clean and organized kitchen. Overall, its one of the very best places to get a burger and a beer in the Portland area.

15-20 minute wait for a table(6pm). Was able to enjoy a cold beer while we waited. Good selection of beer on tap. Enjoyed the wood fired pizza. The kids had hummus and French fries(which were also good). They have an awesome selection of canned and bottled beer in coolers. Those can be enjoyed in house or to go. Ended up taking home a 6 pack of assorted beers. Prices were fair to decent. So many more beers I'd love to try. We'll be going back soon to purchase more. Also would love to try the hamburgers. As they looked very appetizing. Kid friendly enough for the family and very friendly service. Highly recommend.

Always super friendly staff,and wonderful selection of beers! Even for someone who prefers sour ales and berliner styles!

Always forget about this place but it is so good. Food is awesome, staff is awesome, beverages are awesome. Great place to hang with friends or bring the family.

Good food, over 20 beers on tap. Cold cases with tons of bottled and canned beers. My pastrami Burger was tasty and the batter dipped fries are great. A bit spendy. My Burger was $16.00. Beer cheese soup is really good too.
