Bidrage med feedbackVery pleasant. Early arrived, led to the library for drinks. Very nice ambience with expertly prepared cocktails. Prompt, attentive service in the dining room. Good menu choices. Meals (4 of us) well prepared and delicious. We will return!
Brunch in July. We enjoyed brunch (Party of 4) in July and everyone enjoyed their meals. Each party had ordered another duck and everyone was satisfied with its choices, presentation and taste. Service was excellent- attentive, without being intrusive. We'll be back. The shrimps and grottos started!
We at Madison's have eaten twice during our stay. Dinner was pleasant, but breakfast was simply one of the best meals of my life. I think something about a pancake connoisseur, and the buttermilk pancakes were amazing. Light, fluffy, with an almost buttery crust, these make other restaurant 's pancakes (and sad, my own recipe) pale in comparison. I also had Cheddargriten; and my husband had eggs over simple, hickory bacon and wonderful cookies. He also enjoyed his breakfast, but quickly tired of my constant praise of these glorious pancakes. Madisons, please don't change anything, and I promise we're back.
Love the food and service. No bad meal. They were there several times and always try a new dish. So far I can't choose my favorites because everyone was great. Even the daily specials. The best place in Highlands. Go to the third floor roof dining area. Quiet and comfortable seating.
Fabulous. This is Fine dining at it's best. I am usually very suspect of resort food and was sceptical of what was to come since we are captive diners. Well, my fears were put to rest when the complimentary pimento cheese spread showed up. Homemade and fabulous. We both started with the onion chowder. Creamy and delicious, fresh vegetables from the resort's own farm. I then had a salad made with lettuces and heirloom vegetables which were still growing earlier in the day while I was at the pool. She had the crab cake. Also delicious and made with fresh lump crab. For our entree, she had the trout which was locally raised, of course, with some interesting and unique accompaniments. Never have I thought of a celery root slaw, but it was great. I had the steak. If I have to find a fault, it would be the meat. It was not spectacular, but certainly good. The accompaniment for my steak were again, fresh as fresh can be. The service was amazing, the Sommelier knowledgeable. We had a marvelous experience and thisnw as good as the fine dining in any major city. Know the price point before you sit down and then enjoy the ride!
