The Chubby Pickle - HIGHLANDS

Always fantastic food service whether via DD delivery or in house dining. Everything is prepared as requested, food is fresh delicious. The nacho cheese sauce is the best the citrus slaw on the tacos is to die for.

All the food is great. In first experienced the chubby pickle maybe 6 urs ago. And I left I was saying that it is the best bar food I have ever come across recommended for food and drinks.

Usually I have a good experience with this place. But today I decided to venture into their entrees instead of the usual bar food like the quesadillas, tacos, and sandwiches. The Pan Roasted Chicken was highly dissatisfying. The chicken was just ok, the greens were bland, and the cottage fries were just burnt. Couldnt even mask the burnt taste with ketchup. When you get the Chips Guac you are basically paying $10 for chips. The guac I received came in a very small 3oz container, probably half an avocado, or a small one at that. Ive learned a leasson here which is to stick to guac at mexican restaurants. Overall it was a very disappointing experience this time. Their only saving grace is that it's a good hang when they have decent music. But if you're hungry and want bang for your buck, you're better off ordering Chinese food and not wasting your money here.

Ordered pork nachos.. didn't receive any pork at all

The beef tacos were the most delicious tacos I think I've ever eaten! Compliments to the chef! Awesome dinner!
