Bidrage med feedbackExcellent service and delicious food. Michelle was delightful and helpful. It's close to the bus and train station so it was a perfect place to have breakfast before our departure.
The Red Pepper Café was right next to our hotel and a great place for a cooked breakfast before going out for the day. The lady (owner) who runs the place was very friendly and accommodating.
We popped in for the first time as we were waiting on our car charging nearby. Firstly, it was freezing, the door was wide open and it wasn’t a warm morning. No hello when we walked in, we were the only 2 there. Realised why after I’d ordered the food. We waited on someone coming to take our order, I had to go to the counter then the sullen faced girl came over to our table. I ordered the small breakfast and cappuccino, partner ordered roll with sausage and potato scone and an Americano. The small breakfast was 5 items, I chose veggie sausage, scrambled egg, potato scone and toast. The veggie sausage was like a brick, I’m still not convinced it was veggie either just by looking at it. The potato scone was rock hard and I could taste old grease, it was awful. Beans were freezing, coffees were freezing. Now onto the ‘toast’. The ‘toast’ consisted of a slice of warmed up bread, I went to the counter and asked if I could have proper toast, the other sullen woman got another piece of bread and stuck it on a machine that’s used to grill paninis. My partner didn’t eat his roll as he said the sausage was undercooked (he’d eat anything normally). Didn’t bother with the ‘toast’. I noticed the floors were also filthy. We won’t be back.
Went In for a sandwich the other day and saw members of staff roughing monies at till and bread/ingredients without washing there hands or wearing gloves
Stopped off for a quick snack. Ordered coffee and a croissant with crispy bacon. Although the bacon certainly wasn’t crispy, it was pretty delicious, as was the coffee. Friendly staff and good background music
