Bidrage med feedbackCame over this old style pub, while in Inverness it reminded me of pubs in my youth selling a good selection of Scottish beers and best of all not torn tourist prices the McEwan's caught slipping a leak at a hot afternoon good...worthy a visit when you are in Inverness.
Good bar on the water. Clean and well spaced. Good selection of drinks and prices reasonable compared to other inverness bars.
Wandered in here by chance. The locals were extremely friendly, even bought me a pint when they heard I was from France. They gave me great advice on how to make the most of my visit in Inverness, told me about the Great Glen Way...and which restaurant to go to for Haggis. Rhiannon the bartender was absolutely lovely and managed to recommend a whiskey according to my taste preferences. A lovely place I’d surely visit again.
Went in for our first drink of the night. 4 of us. 2 had pints of lager. 1 soda and vodka 1 coke and vodka well firstly the barman is drunk. Second no ice but worst part is the vodka drinks was 100% not vodka....No smell or taste and being out first drink of the night we would of tasted it even more so with no ice. The bar man did put the glasses up to the bottle but I 100% belive this wasn't even watterd down it was watter only.
We visited this pub to spend a little time while waiting for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. Since it was a Six Nations rugby-loving establishment, we got to enjoy an England vs. Wales rugby match with some locals who came in (although we are...not particularly rugby fans). The bartender was very pleasant and instantly remembered our previous drink order each time for successive visits to the bar (three in total). The pub itself was wonderfully warm and inviting on a cold winter day with comfortable seating. The next time we are in Inverness we will be sure to stop in for a pint or two.
