Samrat Tandoori - Highgate

This is the best kept secret in indian resstaurants in adelaide..they never advertise its hard to find but we travel 40 minutes and laugh at all the other takeaway indian places when we drive. Try the lamb mysore wash it down with a mango lassi and cheese naan is the best. Pakoras are so filling too.. this place is well worth the drive they love to make food not love to just take your money like the other places.

Enjoyed our dinner at Samrat while we were in Adelaide for a visit. It remind us the time we were in Oman having food from Kamat and Saravana Bhawan. Good place to visit if you go to Adelaide.

Nice restaurant with very nice staff. Their chicken biryani is very good and generous amount for the price. The raita goes very well with the spicy masalas.
