Taj Balti - High Peak

The food at this restaurant is decent, but their ordering system is confusing and they automatically add a tip. It is possible to remove the tip, but it is practically difficult to do so. I accidentally placed an order and requested a refund from Taj, but they refused. I will review my credit card statement and contact my bank if necessary. Additionally, I plan to report this establishment to Trading Standards. I admit I became frustrated with the situation. Taj mentioned contacting the police for a hate crime, but I have not seen any action taken.

The food was delicious and offered great value for the price. The service was prompt and we didn't have to wait long for our order. We also appreciated the NHS discount. If we are in the area again, we will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Must be the worst Indian take away food I have ever experienced, avoid at all costs, tasteless greasy and disgusting! Chicken pakora was horrendous, everything was so greasy, the only thing that tasted any good were the frozen chips, do not waste your money!

We have been here a fair few times now, and have never recieved anything less than brilliant service and great food! Easily the best take-away in Glossop and the surrounding areas!! The set meal for is such good value, it is ridiculous!

Whilst in isolation due to the coronavirus ordered a takeaway delivery for myself, wife and daughter, service was excellent and delivery within minutes of time slot, good with the present lock down situation. Food was hot and good quality,fresh and very tasty, will be...using again. Only gave stars as the online ordering collapsed after making payment, but been assured our card will be credited.
