Pista House - Hicksville

Finally found a place for real or authentic "dum biryani" in new york. we tried chicken and goat lamb biryani, will soon try other articles.

I'm over here whenever I'm in town for work. eating is delicious and served quickly. the waiter is always timely and polite. the servier sizes are large and they give them to go container.

Hi foodies! first, it's sorry that this is a bit long review, but it's worth reading briefly. please I suggest that someone goes into this restaurant also do not see them name and go it is not the same taste as pistahouse everywhere. we went on Friday all the way from boston to this restaurant. we called the restaurant before we reach the place whether everything is available and it is ok if we order via the phone. they said we should order the phone. our order was 4 haleem, 2 mutton biryani, 1 huhn biryani, panner tikka and couple non- veg. when she came to the service, a lady served our table, she got the appetizer, the cure and the biryani. then we realized the amount of biryani was much too less. when the bowl was flat. as seen in the pictures. we asked the dame the biryani quantity is too fewer her answer was with rude behavior that we would give them more quantity then what we get in the rule we thought not to argue with her. to taste, the cure is tasteless, in which we usually see bleeding with ghee, but here they have water in it they can see that in the pictures. to panner tikka, there are seasoned or salt only the food color. then we called them and asked what that is, what they accept that panner was marinated 1 hour back so that it was wrong there and said, will be removed from the bill. haleem said they would replace it. they replaced the blood and got the same blood from water instead of ghee. When we came to biryani, mutton biryani was too salty that we can't even eat. Chicken biryani they are out that I guess. we got mutton meat in it and that was also salty, as it was the same rice that gave chicken meat. When I came to the billing course, about 284 was initially something about the bill after he had taken out the above mentioned article. it came to 160. thanks for reading. I hope that's helpful.

Lovely food. Travelled from exit 64. Enjoyed the best quality food never had before. Prices are cheaper than other places. Very reasonable. Must go place for quality food. Highly recommended. Thank you for the tasty food.

Not only did the food itself blow my mind, the whole experience here at pista house was great. The staff were incredibly thorough and friendly and it felt as if we were treated with a warm hug via our taste buds. The gobi Manchurian was INCREDIBLE, I’ve had this dish at other restaurants before but this place tops it all. Everything was spiced and flavored to perfection and portion sizes were quite generous. 10/10 recommend!
