La Tienda Mexicana Las Isabelas

My kiddo and I tried Las Isabella's this evening and wow, we were not disappointed! As a vegan it is hard to find options in Hickory. Las Isabella's is filling a void in that area with so many delicious vegan options. Actually their whole menu can be made vegan. They have vegan meat and cheez and are looking into adding vegan chik'n and vegan sour cream! It was all delicious. Always get the fresh homemade chips and pico. All vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. When you order just tell them you are vegan! I asked if any of the desserts were vegan and she said not yet but they are working on getting some vegan desserts on the menu! Everyone was super nice! Everything was fresh and oh so good!! My favorite thing was the sope and the chips and pico. We also got the torta and quesadilla. Enough for several meals. I will be trying the mango margarita next time for sure!

Best Mexican in Hickory and surrounding area. Local, family owned. Owner makes the food and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. Some of the best tacos I've ever had. We try to go often.

You need to give this place a try! Hidden gem of a restaurant located inside a Mexican Tienda. You enter through the store and the dining area is over to the right where you wait to be seated. The patio had a fantastic atmosphere with lots of plants and sunlight. Busy on a weekday evening. The service was friendly. Chips and salsa aren’t complementary but I’d definitely recommend ordering some very fresh tasting. The margaritas looked delicious also with fresh garnishes. Our food was excellent. They have a great variety and it sounded like they had some veggie/vegan options also. The menu is in both English and Spanish.

This place is bomb! Very authentic and delicious. The portions are large and it’s priced just right. Paring can be a little tough. I highly recommend this place. We will be back. *Another great meal! The goat was amazing! Love this place. Very good service

Sometimes you get lucky and find a great little hole in the wall kind of place. If you like authentic Homestyle Mexican food this one of the best . You have to go through the store to get the restaurant. Very quaint style but it fits with the vibe andambiance. We order chicken tacos, a chicken gordita , and chicken fajitas. The tacos were delicious, little different than whatIam just too I tend to like the street style double mini tortilla. The Gordita was a great value for the size you can sharethat is what we did. The Fajitas were homestyle goodness. Also they give you the most chicken I ever got from anywhere had leftover for 2 more meals . The beans were home made most everything I was homemade which is what I prefer. Truly a hidden Gem andcertainly will be back !!!
