Cobb salad for lunch while watching Wimbledon. Fast service... excellent food.

Entrees: wings and fries, chicken tenders tossed in sauce and cheddar grits. 10/10 the food (not pictured spinach and artichoke dip with tortillas) Service is really mediocre and slacking just a tad. Ordered a beer and it was right next to us at the bar (we are at the high tops next to bar area) and didn’t get it for 10+ minutes, but was staring at it. Many people walked by it and saw it but didn’t want to help out our waitress. No one helps each other here and it is kinda the downfall of this place. Bathrooms need updated and renovated. Atmosphere is nothing fancy but I will say I like the music choices every time I come here. Overall I would recommend but just don’t expect too much.

Great Food and Amazing Service ! I had the Buffalo Chicken Tacos and they were Delicious and the Pub Chips were Hot and Crispy. Emma was our server and was Very Helpful Fast and Professional. We Will Be Back !

So our story begins like most. Once upon a time not too far away in a place called Hickory Tavern in of all places HICKORY! This is going to be good. We enter the building and we're immediately greeted and seated. Oh yeah I like this story so far. After waiting for a bit. Not too long the waitress takes our drink order and as she's walking off one of my party says thank you to her. I'm thinking it normally works the other way around in most stories like this but whatever right...All of the sudden this Jeopardy song starts playing in my head and then ends, starts again and ends again. We're just waiting. OK there's our waitress with the drinks and she takes our orders. That stupid jeopardy song plays again like 3 times. We're still waiting. Oh yeah! there's our food finally. The waitress set our food on the table and walks off. Still not saying thank you, it's my pleasure or do you need anything else. We start our meals and it's OK at best on a good day. Oops now two of us just ran out of drinks. Look around. Nope she's not coming back. My bad there she is. Here's your bill and leaves. We wait a few thinking we'll at least get refills. Not today. We pay the bill. She picks it up. Still no thank you, it was my pleasure or would you like drinks to go. She walks away. We leave. Wish this was a better story and I hope your visit goes way better than ours did. The end

The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in, but we waited at least 15 minutes for our waiter to come to our table with menus. There was a large table with a group of children that were running around the restaurant, screaming and hanging on the games. The staff wasn't happy with them either, but it was hard to give a better score on the atmosphere because of that issue. The food was good, although my dish had to be remade because the kitchen didn't notice my request to not have the spicy aioli. Luckily, the waiter did notice before he brought the food to the table. Will definitely eat here again and hope for better results.
