Hickory Smokehouse Bbq

Great locally owned place for fantastic BBQ. Their bbq sauces are what make it for me. I work at Verizon down the street and we order from them weekly. Great folks there. Sad to hear about them closing after all these years.

My husband and I stopped in Hickory to pick up a bicycle from Rock N Road Bicycles and we were advised to stop in for lunch here. This little hidden gem is lovely! The food is incredible, the service is fast, restaurant is clean, and the employees are so friendly. I ate the best hush puppies, ribs, and brisket of my life here. Highly recommended!

Delicious!! I haven't eaten there in a while and it was fantastic!! The sliced turkey, the brunswick stew, and the hot dogs were really excellent!! Probably the best hot dog I've ever had!! Will be back regularly!

First time here. Lunch was good. U can get 2 sides, 3 sides, or sandwich. Not the best I've had but it was good.

Pretty good barbecue. Could have a bit more seasoning on the meat but the spicy BBQ sauce made up for it.
