Sterkel doesn't sound like Italian cuisine, but they definitely exist there. Not exclusively, therefore more Mediterranean. For about a year there has been a new tenant. We were there in a small group for lunch, and we were all made by food. I had the grilled Dorado. A very large part of the fish prepared to the point. Very tasty and cost-effective within the frame. The service was beautiful and attentive.

Hotel restaurant Sterkel offers a lot on the menu to satisfy hunger. From the barrel there are Erbacher Pils or the delicious Krušovice as a dark alternative. The service was very friendly and flotted at my two visits. The map offers good home cooking, with the focus being more meat-loaded on the map. ; There are some vegetarian variants. The selection is moderate. I combined my carving with side salad and cream wesing, with the hunter sauce once with pepper. Delicious variant and not just fungal. A huge portion that threw me into the Schnitzelkoma afterwards. Nothing for the little hunger in between. ; The second evening, my hunger was not so great, and I was amazed with freshly pickled salmon with Rösti, standing on the map of potato buffer... So it was not said and was not part of it. In addition, the Rösti were not fresh, but TK Convenience. It tasted, but it would have been nice to say. The prices are already slightly higher and not consistently favorable... But lack of alternatives in the environment at the **** weather I stayed there. ;
The owner of the restaurant changed to 14 October 2022. The restaurant at Hotel Sterkel is now operated by the former inhanber of Restaurant Leone in Waldacker. With his complete team he has taken over the significantly larger restaurant in Urberach. The ambience is more pleasing than in the former restaurant. and the number of seats is clearly larger. There are also enough parking spaces now. The sanitary facilities are also in a better condition and very clean. In any case, it is an improvement for the owner and he will probably no longer have to reject guests for lack of space. The menu of the Leone and also the usual lunch table are offered in the same quality and quantity. On Sunday 23rd October 2022 we were there for a trial dinner and were not disappointed The greeting was as usual cordial and accommodating. I approved a veal medallion in red wine figs sauce with mediteran vegetables and rosemary spices from the table and d my wife all the same with herbal butter instead of the figs sauce. There was the usual delicious salad. A half-liter Montepulciano and a large still water were recommended as a drink. There were the delicious little rolls. Finally an espresso and a grappa. A little over 70,00 € So everything was good.
