We have been here for years and eating is consistently good and the wine list varies and reasonable. the relaxing and attentive service contributes to a beautiful day or evening experience. would highly recommend.

Small, slightly off the beaten track, but easy to find. excellent service very good eating great value for money. although quiet good atmosphere beautiful cocktails great house red. warm goat cheese salad a good start perfect steak and no room for the desert. Child...friendly we were all very satisfied and happy

French provincial fine dining at its best, and good value for money to boot. This was our Christmas present to ourselves my wife and adult daughter and I and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The menu is a little limited and you...really need to order all the courses at the same time as they're all prepared more or less from scratch and some of the deserts can take a while. Service is efficient and unhurried, with plenty of time between courses I think we spent nearly three hours there! The ambience in an establishment of this type can depend very much on one's fellow diners so I can only comment on what we experienced and I think peaceful and refined come to mind. And no muzak! This is yet another local restaurant we shall be returning to.

We managed to get away for a weekend without the children, the first time for 11 years! We have a place near Hesdin, and thought it would be nice to go for a romantic meal. Having looked at the reviews on trip advisor we chose...La Breteche, and I 'm glad we did. It was a lovely warm evening so we sat outside, but they were concerned we would get cold so the staff sorted out the patio heater for us. The food was lovely, we do enjoy fine dining, and have been to some famous/popular foodie restaurants. Whilst I have had slightly better meals they have been three to four times the price of this meal. The food was well presented, well cooked and tasted wonderful. The staff were attentive, but not obtrusive, there was a good wine list and I would highly recommend it. It was a nice romantic meal for us, but there is a children 's menu so also good for families, and there was a large seating area so great for a group also. We look forward to going back again.

New Year's Eve seven course meal. A gastronomic delight. Wonderful ambiance. Service excellent but not intrusive.
