Café Wiacker - Herne

For many years we have returned to Wiacker during our frequent travels to Herne. Unfortunately, it was time to find out that this house is no longer what it was: a cafe with very good confectionery! To deliver a piece of apple spice cake the most primitive way for € 4.40 is already a shame. Steinharter Boden,ALTES, tasteless bakery that fulfilled the desire for another tasting from this bakery! An absolute fall was the courts chosen by the participants from the tendering list. The poultry meat pieces served by the various dishes had three things in common: 1. cut to paper thickness, 2. to invariability, and 3. a hardness that caused fear that either the knife or the dish would damage during the comminution. The worting of this apparently in stock produced meat piece was probably forgotten in the kitchen. To round dry rice, a kind of sauce Hollandaise and a salad that has become nothing but water in its preparation. As a farewell greeting to the guest immediately after leaving this place to put a mask. Our experiences and long-term observations from the visits of the Cafe Wiacker are given further: disappointed by the negative development of this once well visited confectionery: ending; never again!

The cake made by Konditorei Wiacker for our family was a single catastrophe: inconspicuous in view, completely unclean and, above all, lazy. Our sketches and personal wishes discussed so far have not been observed or implemented at all. When picking up we enslaved the urgently needed cake and were smiled and wounded by sellers in the shop. The ladies have treated us negatively in an indescribable form and no one of the 3head Management Fam. Wiacker was ready to talk to us. Orally about a seller, the management offers us a discount of 10, EUR or even the tort. We did so too, and so insufficient confectionery could not be offered to the guests. The Wiacker Confectionery has naturally accepted that our celebration takes place without cake.

Since the Café des LWL Museum was unfortunately closed, but with my companions were the big coffee and cake hungry, we went over the nearby shopping street. We also really found several attractive cafes and restaurants, but the two always found a hook. I stayed in the front because my life rings don't actually require virgins anymore. This changed abruptly when we stood in front of the shop windows of 'Bäckerei und Café Wiacker'. It was not the cruel Halloween decoration, but the devilish stagberry cake! It was with Baiser, but I can't resist. The café had to be. Our decision was completely correct, because at the counter we even found roast beer vanilla creampie that made my mouthwater more. When you enter the shop, you will find yourself in the storage room where bread, rolls, baked goods and in glass shops also cakes have their place. Then we continue to the café with cozy, a little old-fashioned, furnished seating areas. For the also available soups and other warm dishes there is in the middle a furniture with copper containers that was really interesting to see. The café was great, but again we were lucky that a table was opened, from which one could observe the Lord of the Torts at work through a huge glass pane, and before the operation was properly cleared up, we were there. We ordered a cappuccino (a 3€, the two other poppy apricot cake with cream (each 3,50€ 0,90€ and I my roasted beer cake (3,70€) The service was fast, attentive and funny. With our order we were very satisfied, so simply tastes sin. DDD The café is only recommended! Unfortunately, the average of the reviews suffers from some negative reviews of a Bochum café that does not belong to it.

One of the oldest confectionery in Herne-known for very good and fine bakery and wedding cakes and generally cakes for special occasions on order. Unfortunately, the café itself has really come into the years - the facility, especially the seating is sometimes very desperate and the prices are quite sharp in contrast to the numerous competition on site. Only the service I have experienced as a topp in terms of friendliness and customer orientation. Too bad it has lost so much of its own charm over the years.

Wiacker is an institution known in Herne and far beyond the city boundaries. Especially the strawberry villages almost all of our friends in the Ruhr region know what I can not fully understand, because the torts and chocolates are far better, but tastes are well known to be different. ; In addition to sweets, there is also bread, e.g. very delicious onion bread. As my previous speakers have already mentioned, Wiacker is one of the old traditional coffee houses with controls in matching clothing, great dishes, patterned carpet and padded chairs and seating areas. When you get in, you can smell coffee and sweet stuff. And if someone else was on the keyboard (formerly it was a piano, I think I'm sitting at some distances, then I could sit there for hours and listen to the quiet piano music. So if you want to take a little time trip, you should go to Wiacker. ;
