The restaurant was noisy but the food was excellent. The service was very good

Stopped in for happy hour and dinner. Happy hour cocktails were really very good for well liquor and the $1 oysters were very good. Went downhill from there. I ordered a ribeye medium rare (because how else). It was cooked perfectly medium rare but the cut of meat was tough and not very flavorful. Not marbled well and thus mediocre flavor and well below average tenderness. Side of Brussels sprouts was a bit overcooked in my opinion but still pretty tasty.

I have been to S&W many times, but I especially liked the atmosphere on this day. It was a Wednesday, just fyi. The natural sun light made the restaurant especially inviting with the richness of colors and textures in their decor. The food was superior, from the dollar oysters (from hh menu) to the potbelly and ribeye, and everything in between, mashed potatoes sides and brussel sprouts! Isaac was a great host and server! Oh yes, and the Old Fashions were perfect, too.

We stumbled across this beautiful restaurant in Hermosa Beach and couldn’t be happier, food service drinks and atmosphere were 100% my husband said his steak was one of the best he has had. You have to check this place out

I ordered the short ribs omg great flavor presentation was awesome the food tasted so so good the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is A1 most definitely will be back for the porter house the wolf creek wine selection was great add to short rib
