Bidrage med feedbackVery well cooked ingredients and choice, friendly service, in an unusual church environment, Excellent scrambled eggs !
Went to Bills kitchen as we normally do when we visit Hereford. On this rainy Saturday it was a good idea again. Ordered two small coffees and sausage bap. Told the girl on the till no butter. (I like them better that way. The sausages are delicious). However when our order arrived the coffee was distinctly Luke warm and the bap had butter on it. Would have visited the till but a queue was in place. Just thought you guys should know not up to the usual brilliant standard. Still ate the bap though.
Very poor greasy breakfast overloaded with thick toast to make the plate look loaded. Bacon was overcooked and very strongly smoked. 2 small sausages, scrambled egg, a mushroom and half a tomato. Expensive and poor value for money. Not recommended and lucky to get 2 stars from me !!
What a brilliant location, really superb cafe located within the church building. Really nice home-cooked dishes , something for everyone. Quiche was fantastic will lovely salad to accompany. Great multi use location .First class all round
We had soup and mains. It was Very expensive: a small pea soup and tiny roll was £7. My Tofu salad was tiny, just one desert spoon each of two salads and three small slices of tofu was £9, there were no salad leaves and it looked more of an expensive starter than a main. My husband had venison and mushroom pie. It came with 6 tiny pieces of roast potato and a minuscule portion of salad leaves and cost £14. We were still hungry after paying £37 for lunch for two people. The quality of the ingredients was great and everything tasted delicious but we won’t go back as we both had to go out and eat bags of crisps to fill up. Incidentally, we then went to Hereford cathedral where the cafe there does a massive plate of salads for just £5! Or Quiche and salads for £7. Oh how we wish that we had eaten at the cathedral.
