Baalbek - Heredia

So controversial place, eating was too bad, not really the taste, but was not really what was ordered and made so cheap, has nothing like libanon taste and by two explained amber meals on menu had only one. it was announced high time with such a beautiful place and organization, but kitchen-wise complete sweat had not most of the wanted meals, not even hamburger, no milk. against woman, the place and atmosphere was absolutely safe.

The place is good, the food took too much to be prepared, knowing that we did a huge reservation it seems that they really didn't care because there were just two people working in the kitchen. At the end the place is good, the view is lovely and the food they need to work on it.

Really beautiful restaurant with great view and lookout point.. but it is not a Lebanese restaurant. They have three appetizers that are Lebanese and two main courses.... but that is it. On top of that when we actually wanted to order one of the Lebanese courses they did not have it!! (as well they did not have rum, hamburger, Jumbo prawns, milk for cappuccino, chili guaro and one thing I can't remember). How can you run a restaurant like that when you are missing half of the things?

We arrived 20 minutes after they were supposedly open (as per their Facebook page), waited 15 min to no avail, tried calling several times to both numbers listed and no one answered, extremely frustrating considering the 2 hour drive we had to take to get here

Service is awful. It took them more than an hour to bring what can only be described as a mediocre sea bass. Risotto was overcooked to a point that it was hard crispy. We ask for the owner 3 times, and she refuse to come to our table. The location is nice, but food quality and bad service will ensure you never go back.
