Bistro Franz Ferdinand Markus Pöpperl

I spent an evening in Franz Ferdinand while on a business trip in Herborn. The owner was friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant itself is quite charming too. The only seating still available was at the bar, but it was comfortable nonetheless. I had a Bitburger and tried their Chicken Salad, and left satisfied. Reservations are recommended to get a table for dinner.

This was the small veggie tapas. Tasted very nice but the portion could have been bigger. Was quite crowded and loud inside so not great for conversation but has a nice interior design.

Superb chilli. Friendly service. Booked for tomorrow...........

With the lunch and mojito taste with nachos salad. mojito is great, salat too big for me. good for the stock. try the dinner for the next one.

No carving here, or other heavy meat with sauces. the Exec cook is a world traveler and brings Mediterranean inspiration for tapas and toscan for pasta and pizza back. I'm going on a second time on this trip.
