Homer's Barbecue - Henderson

The braut grilled cheese sandwich is absolutely delicious! I had a command of dirty rice, and it was also wonderful. You know what you're doing?

This is owned by the same folks who own Hometown Rootz, and they have hit it out of the park again. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. Our table ordered the BBQ nachos, brisket Philly cheesesteak, chicken plate, burgoo and pulled pork sandwich, all was delicious. The portion sizes are HUGE so plan accordingly! You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here!!

Great food! The staff is very attentive and happy to help. The sauce selection is great and it 's on the tables so you can try them and experiment till you get what your looking for. The only part is the 'house chip ' tasted like store potato chips put into deep frier again. So very crisp but also kinda greasy.

Took the family there for a late lunch, it was our first time eating there so we had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere seemed like that of a sports bar but they were very inviting, even to my young children. The weather was great and the overhead doors were open so that made the experience all the Better. The food was excellent and they had a good amount of options, while not being overwhelming. It was on the pricier side when feeding a family but not much more than an Applebees or Tumbleweed supper so no complaints. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Overall it was great and I would like to go back and try some more of their menu items.

Amazing place! If you're near Henderson Ky you should try Homer's BBQ! Excellent service, delicious food, and laid back atmosphere. KY is playing on all 4 big screens and on the TVs outside. The Nachos were AMAZING the Beef brisket was DELICIOUS ? Loved everything about it will be here often! lol! Hope to see Homer's in Doordash soon! I would order weekly! ?
