I couldn't believe the reviews, so I went to check the place out myself. And it was even worse than I imagined. I've never experienced anything like it. In an empty cafe we were told that we could sit at only one specific table in a very rude tone. After we didn't make a decision quickly we were asked to leave. I truly don't expect a high level of service or friendliness from restaurant staff, and I always treat people with respect. However, I don't get why someone who chooses to open a cafe makes an effort to make people feel not welcome..

I unfortunately had a bad experience here. I came due to the cosiness the place offers but sadly to find out that the staff had a highly bad attitude. I was not allowed to sit where I would like(regardless of reserved tables). The location was purely empty when I arrived and I was surprised to hear of a strange rule that only allowed sitting at one inside table mentioned by the personnel. Given this, I had enough reason not to sit there. I therefore do not recommend this location.

It's great to see more places in helsinki the expats. the bakers are great here, and the caffeine has its own unique style. they always have good vegetarian options.
