Ella's Pizzeria - HELLERTOWN

Tried Mexican night. Food was OK. Mexican style shrimp was tasty.

This was my first time eating food here ever since the owners been changed and oh God was it bad. Ordered a chicken Alfredo with calamari on the side. It seemed like there was no effort put in whatsoever with the Alfredo sauce it was basically milk noodles with old chicken. The calamari was extremely greesy and had a rotten taste to it. Would not recommend this place at all. You better off spending your money on taco bell.

We stopped in for a quick midday lunch. The calamari salad was outstanding, fresh and bright with a lemon vinaigrette dressing. Street tacos were double-husked with lots of character in the roasted pork, and the guacamole was very smooth but not too thin. Service was fast and friendly, too. Ella's was a great find, easily accessible, and definitely a place to grab a bite!

One of the most disappointing meals ever. We were very excited to try the Mexican menu. We started with chips and Pico de Gallo. These were good. Crispy chips and fresh Pico. For dinner we ordered chicken fajitas and American style beef tacos. These dishes were terrible. Nothing had any Mexican seasoning. The tacos were plain ground beef that was very dry in a soft shell. Being American style we expected crispy shells. The fajitas were brought out sizzling on a hot plate. Off to a great start! Nothing else came out with it. No tortilla shells, or sour cream or the Mexican rice and refried beans. When we asked,our server said that was all the cook gave her. !!!!! Eventually our server brought out tortillas and rice and beans. The rice and beans were cold and tasteless. We told our server about our disappointment but a manager never stopped by to check in. We will not be back. Our bad for staying in an empty restaurant to begin with.

The first time here have been eating since the new property. pizza was terrible. no taste. fatuccine alfredo was fed noodles. other foods were also not good. used to large local food spot. now it's filthy. no effort.
