El Patron Grill - Helena

I sung twice at El Patron, now I'm in the last three months. Service is extremely fast. You are more authentic than your average TexMex/ southeast Mexican restaurant. First, you can get THREE free dives for your chips: a Red Salsa, a Salsa Verde Green Salsa and a black roasted bean dive with cheese sauce in it. This alone gives this place tons? Brownie points? because I prefer Salsa Verde on red salsa. Secondly, they offer Piña Coladas, Jarritos several flavors and Aquas frescas? I thought that was impressive. My first visit here, they offered me drilled Jalapeños? when I asked about Jalapeños? they were spicy and delicious! Not shown. I ordered the Carnitas meal, and a Chili Relleno I judge a Mexican restaurant quality through her Chili Rellenos? They have definitely passed my test! Not only do they offer ground beef filled, but also SHRIMP filled Chile Rellenos? Soooo yummy. I had so much food it didn't even look like I had eaten something and had tons with me to take home During my last visit I ordered a steak Fajita salad. That's it. The steak was juicy and all the vegetables were good. I asked for a side of Queso and Jalapeños. The sum for my meal plus extras, the free dips and nachos ended less than $12. Quite a steal for the amount of food I had! Large portion sizes. I will definitely see them regularly and try other menu items ?

Food and service are very good. But the margaritas are on another level. Nice clean atmosphere.

I had a pleasant experience here on Friday night. The food was great and the drinks packed a punch, especially the Pina colada! In this area everything shuts down and there is no place to go for a decent meal and cocktail. We arrived there at 9:30 they close at 10, but they had time to prepare an almost perfect meal. I say almost because the tamales we're a bit dry and the tacos tasted like they were made at home using McCormick taco mix. However, the fajitas and the grilled steak nachos were to die for!

This is the type of Mexican food I want to be eating. This restaurant is authentic, the service is super fast it was hard not to feel rushed. However, this also makes them hyper aware of emptying glasses. I chose the fried fish and I could not be more satisfied. The dish was delicious and came with rice and beans that were definitely different from your typical texmex restaurant. I would recommend.

This restaurant serves the best top shelf margaritas in town, with friendly service every time. The food is sure to impress as well.
