Abbaye Grimbergen - Hazebrouck

We stayed a few nights in Hazebrouck. The hotel had a bar, but the owner seemed hesitant to open, we decided to go to the marketplace in Hazebrouck. The Abbaye Grimbergen stands in the left corner with the back against the council building. The Abbaye was friendly and as we have done our best effort to order some drinks with our Pidgin franc, the Barmann has not let us feel intimidated. We all at our party had a visit to order the next round. The whole place is lively, but friendly. Try the beer of the month. When we were there, “Belzebuth” was a blonde camp with a strength of 8%. It was very good. Then we were presented with a plate of bread and cheese and pate, into which we were heartily bitten. That was eating there, but we had already eaten we didn't need one, but what we saw was very good. The owner felt very welcome and if we return to this area, we will definitely call.

Standing with your back against the council building the Abbaye Grimbergen is in the far left hand corner. The Abbaye was friendly and as we made our best effort to order some drinks with our pidgin french the bar man didn’t make us feel intimidated. All of us in our party had a go at ordering the next rounds. The whole place is lively but friendly. Try the beer of the month.
