Round1 Bowling Amusement - Hayward

Horrible customer service!! I ordered a pool table with friends. I get a text saying the table is ready. The service desk takes my drivers license ID, I pay $17.00, then they give us the pool table equipment. We set the equipment on the table and a minute later decide to get drinks at the bar and since I gave my ID to the service desk a few minutes ago for the pool table, the bartender checks for my ID from the service desk workers. She comes back saying that they don't have my ID anymore. I double check with the service desk and they state that they lost it. They said that the table we booked was actually to someone else, and that my license was not in their possession, but the other person's. I was confused to how this was possible, because they texted me stating my table is ready and allowed me to pay for an hour at the pool table. They went to check the security cameras and they took awhile. I asked one of the employees behind the desk how long it takes for them to look through the security cameras. He stated that it takes 15-20 minutes. Now, including the wait for the bartender and the service desk workers to look for my ID prior to them checking the cameras, they wasted a total of 30 minutes out of the hour I bought. I asked if it was possible for me to be reimbursed but the manager rudely stated that they were only gone for 10 minutes and will not reimburse. Her time perception is contradictory to the time stamps of the text messages saying that my table was ready, the receipt, and her own employee! I was fine not being reimbursed, so I opted for a refund. However, there was no apology given and only rude behavior was displayed by the manager. Rude staff, avoid if possible. Unorganized, deplorable, and despicable.

What a fun place! Came with friends to bowl and we had such a great time. The pricing was great for two rounds, shoes included. Keep in mind that masks are not mandatory, but the staff have them on! The game area is not very cramped, but bowling and karaoke can get booked fast so call ahead. This round1 is very clean and wellkept, bathrooms are also very clean. I haven't tried their food selections yet but they seem to be popular amongst the people playing and bowling! Would love to come back and try their karaoke rooms next time. Fun with large group of friends or for a date!

This place is a nice mixture of fun for kids and adults. There are only a handful of bowling lanes, and each arcade game is fairly pricey. Great place for my son and I to enjoy some quality time together. The food isn't that good and is also pretty pricey for basic appetizer items (e.g. fries, nachos, wings, and pizza). The attendants are pretty easy to spot and flag down if there is an issue.... If the cost wasn't so high, they would get 5 stars.

I love this place!! I really recommend it, The only promblem is that the reload macheine doesn't work as much. And you really don't need a party room unless you were doing a party. Other than that, The round 1 at southland is cool. again relly recommend the place.

Loved the location went her with my boyfriend staff was super friendly and had many options and activities. The prices were very affordable and definitely will be coming again! They have bowling games and karaoke all in the same place loved it!
