Bidrage med feedbackI ordered the small size for $12 and comes only with 2 curry drumsticks and 2 pieces uncooked kartoffel and eating was bland. a small part of rice and it's $12 for God's sake.
During my visit, I ordered a dish with chopped meat, carrots, tofu, and winter melons. The server provided soup spoons and bamboo chopsticks, but I could have requested a plastic fork. Some dishes had a subtle hint of chili, adding a spicy kick without being overwhelming. I also tried their iced green tea, which I found to be a bit too sweet for my taste, but still enjoyable. A word of advice - try to arrive early or avoid the lunch rush to avoid long wait times, as the popularity of this place can lead to lines of up to an hour. However, the wait is worth it for the unique and delicious dishes served at Taste of Cho.
After seeing the long lines outside this restaurant for weeks, I decided to join the queue to see what all the hype was about. Without knowing the type of cuisine, I picked three dishes along with rice. I enjoyed the delicious fried chicken dish (though a bit dry), the fresh chili bean sprouts, and a tasty meat dish. Only later did I confirm from reviews that the cuisine was Taiwanese. While I could have explored more options, I found that half of my plate was filled with plain boiled rice, which seemed a bit overpriced at $11.50, considering the limited sauce provided.
This restaurant offers delicious Taiwanese food at affordable prices. There is a long waiting queue around 5 o'clock, so it is best to go early to avoid the dinner crowd. They have a large selection of dishes to choose from. My favorites are the fish in sauce, the aubergine, and the omelette with prawns. You can choose 2 dishes with rice for $9.50 or 3 dishes with rice for $11.50.
We saw the queue and it was worth the wait. You can watch the dishes being prepared while you wait. We had a taste of 3 dishes with rice. All very nice with superfresh ingredients. The only downside is the lack of seating..8 stools!
