Chat Thai - Haymarket

My family and I went out to dinner last night at 8:30 p.m. We were offered a table, but were told to order quickly because the kitchen was closing in half an hour. Unfortunately, after ordering a dish that was supposed to be mild, we received food that was incredibly spicy and impossible to eat. I complained about the spiciness, but this morning we all woke up with severe stomach pain. Despite the friendly service, the overall experience was terrible and I don't know what to say after waking up feeling so unwell.

The dining experience at this restaurant was somewhat uncomfortable due to the seating. Our group of four tried several dishes, all of which were decent but nothing outstanding. The service was quick, but basic. The fried rice was overcooked and the steamed rice was also overdone, making for a rushed meal before a show.

Good red duck curry but very disappointing pad Thai noodles and over fried dry fish salad. Service was friendly but not efficient.

Amazing Thai food at this place. Been here multiple times and always ordering different things, so far, nothing have dissappoint. Restaurant is a bit small and narrow, so it tends to get a bit noisy. But otherwise, would recommend this place to others.

I took my family out for dinner here after the Moulin Rouge and we ordered a few dishes which were okay. We were rushed out the door whilst we were still eating the last of our dishes at this point, we had only been...at the restaurant for less than an hour. We felt pressured to and leave immediately. Upon getting home, we checked the receipt and discovered we were charged different prices than what was on the menu resulting in a $50 overcharge. I called the restaurant and was told to call the manager back the next day to discuss the matter. Upon calling back the next day, I was told there was no manager. I have emailed the company and have been ignored. Beware!
