Cafe Sum - Haymarket

The cakes here are so very tasty, the sandwiches are yummy too, they've good a lot of good looking stuff on the menu that I have yet to try, so I'll definitely be going back :) Nice small Korean cafe with friendly staff too. I love it!

We were staying in Sydney for 4 nights & this cafe is next to the hotel we were staying in! The staff are really friendly & greet you with a polite "hello" & smile. The cafe is very clean & tidy, the breakfast rolls are lovely and the coffee is delicious!! Plus there is FREE Wifi, excellent little cafe!!

Breakfast options in this area are quite limited so the board out front drew our attention. It is a clean place with free wifi and a glass case of highly decorated cakes with fake cream. The breakfast menu looked good, so we ventured in. Service was quick, coffee was tasty but barely warm. My Belgian waffle with fresh fruit, well ... the fresh fruit was excellent with nice presentation however the waffle was dry and tough, absolutely inedible even if I had smothered it with maple syrup. Hubby's omelette was OK, but let's face it, it has to be hard to muck up an omelette.Not sure we'd go back again.

Two bacon and egg rolls with two small fresh salads on a plate with knives and forks and a small flat white and large cappuccino for $20.50 would be hard to beat value wise. The food was good, the coffee reasonable and despite the loud music , the experience was quite good.

The restaurant has the look and flavor of authentic Hong Kong cuisine.
