Bidrage med feedbackGenerally, the food was good. Not too crowded, In fact I was the only costumer this night, apparently they owned the liqueur next door and they are everywhere.
Dined in 830p on a Friday. Inside was empty. Order the tikka masala and side of garlic naan. All right. Only criticism is Masala was $11.99, the cheapest rice side was 4.99. Crazy. It should come with a bowl of rice as a dune in dinner duck. Would recommend this place and go again.
Food is very good. Mild but tasteful and delicious, all fresh, including the wonderful Mango Lassie. Not 5 stars because of the bottom. Had to wait a while to have my Naan bread, which was supposed to have been ready as an appetizer, but was just ready with the meal. The temperature in place was probably too cool for mid-December and for an Indian restaurant, the food, although very tasty could have been something spicier. I felt that the restaurant does not fit warmth (environment) to the quality of the food In addition to being the name of the restaurant is misleading, as I expected a medium eastern style of the kitchen instead of Indian foods with names like Royal Kabob. However, general quality and delicious meal.
For the first time recently. The hostess found to be friendly and helpful. I had the Tandoori chicken, which was very tasty. I liked it. It was very empty and quiet, which made me realize that it was lacking atmosphere, bit the food was good enough for me to get over it.
It's always hard to find great Indian food once you've tasted the best of the best. This place did pretty well, although didn't surpass previous experiences. Ordered the gyro sandwich which had very tender beef and green pepper slices. The sandwich was very tasty. Boyfriend ordered the chicken tikka masala and that's where the amazing stopped. The chicken was rather bland and the curry was nothing spectatucular, but the spiciness was a nice touch. The side of basmati rice was actually tasty and complimented the curry well. Definitely recommend the mango lissi (yogurt and mango goodness all blended up). The restaurant seats comfortably several guests and was very clean. The staff were attentive and the chief was very accommodating. Overall, pleasant dining experience, just don't come looking for the best chicken tikka masala.
