Costco Food Court - Hawaiʻi County

The self service kiosk line is a total flop. It’s slower than the regular line.

Poor ordering process, wasted a lot of time waiting in the wrong line. I should’ve just gone to the line without kiosk pick up and saved myself so much time. It went much faster.

I have provided a bad review in the past due to the long lines, taking 30 minutes most times. The food is cheap but the lines were more related to bad organization.I find it as much improved now! There is a kiosk to submit orders outside, which are called out as prepared. No more waiting for someone who ordered six smoothies when all you want is a hot dog!This has made the lines just about disappear which is great, the food is good, prices excellent. Good job, Costco.

I recently purchased some packaged sliced turkey and ate some out of the first pack without noticing the mold. I got really sick for a few days after eating the bad meat. I had a second package and checked it, also moldy. I also purchased some buffalo wings, which I've purchased many times over the last years. The wings were larger than usual and had tougher meat. They tasted odd, so after getting sick on the turkey I threw them away. I'm out $150 in bad meat. I live on the Hilo side, so driving 2 hours each way to get the bad food replaced wasn't an option. Also, who knows if the replacement meat would be bad too. I'm not sure what's going on at Costco, but I won't make the drive again to stock up our freezer. The trust is gone forever.
