Located in the heart of the city. Excellent service and reasonable rates. Satisfied with the food variety and I recommend this place.

My recent visit to cool land hot hut restaurant was a complete disaster. The ambiance was gloomy, the service was untrained and disinterested, and the food was tasteless and poorly executed. The high prices only added insult to injury. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this restaurant at all costs. Don’t visit here

This doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you descend the few steps into the shadows of this restaurant and hotel, you'll realize this is quite a spot. And once you taste the food, you'll be glad you stopped. Buffet style food which normally I would ignore like the plague. However the large number of other good reviews caused me to put my prejudices aside and I'm glad I did. Dishes are billed a la carte at the end of your meal. Pay by cash not sure if they accept credit cards but I wouldn't count on it. Located on the edge of Nuwara Eliya this little place serves buffet style meals that are delicious and authentic. They categorize the food as Sri Lankan, Chinese, and Indian, but it all basically breaks down to rice, curries (vegetarian and meat based) and vegetables. The white rice was light and fluffy and they also had heartier looking red rice as well as chinese style rice with veggies. Curries are flavorful and, though spicy, not unreasonably so (especially by Sri Lankan standards). They obviously are used to dealing with non Sri Lankan taste buds as well as locals. Several different grilled chicken and fish options available separately so vegetarians should be fine here. Freshly blended fruit juices were delicious and pulpy. Bottled water and some sodas available. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Good location and delicious food... Good customer care.. Best for family and Solo traveler also.. I highly recommend this place....
