Had a good traditional Malay dinner here in a group of six friends. We ordered 2 sets of 3 pax meals which consist of tom yum, fish, meat, vegetables, omelette and drinks. The meals costed 1,340 baht. It was worth the money as the dishes were cooked fresh and did not skip on the ingredients. There were plenty of seating places for large and also smaller groups. The waitress can converse fluently both in Malay and Thai. At 6pm, they are closed for about 30 mins to replenish their ingredients before reopening. Recommended place for a good halal meal when in Hatyai. Kind of illegal. Within 2 hours, we asked 3 times about the status of the order every 30 minutes (which only reached the water). When it reaches the second hour, we cancel the order. I just tried to find the order, apparently it disappeared. Not even an apology, he just didn't look at us and let us go. ps luckily he said he didn't have to pay for the water. even in the most haram tone I've ever heard.
