The Hungry Peacock - HASTINGS POINT

Just came back from a lunch/afternoon tea date here. The set up is absolutely amazing for the little ones to explore, play and keep entertained. The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely top notch. The BEST burger I have ever had, hands down! And I have had a lot of burgers! We also had a Peanut butter creme filled Salted Caramel Popcorn cookie sandwich (quite a mouthful, literally) which blew our minds! I will definitely be coming back and bringing the hubby for a dinner (which is really fairly priced for the standard of food they serve) and the girlfriends for a kid-free date too. All in all it is a top notch establishment that I would highly recommend.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot to grab lunch or coffee. The food was delicious and the service was excellent with very friendly staff. It's especially perfect for families with kids, as there is a play area for them to enjoy while parents relax and enjoy their meal. The country setting creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it a truly unique dining experience.

Amazing place. Friendly outgoing staff, excellent coffee, delicious quality food and heaps of activities to keep the kids entertained. Never had a bad experience. Will definitely recommend.

We held my son's party at Busy Peacock last weekend and it was AMAZING!! Both kids and parents enjoyed the busy peacock session and the games in the hall. The hall was just the right size, not too big or too small, and the heaters kept us nice and warm. It's the perfect venue for a winter party! The parents especially loved the coffee table at the cafe. We brought our own food, but as a regular customer I can confirm that the food is delicious! I highly recommend Busy Peacock for any party. After going to The Busy Peacock weekly with my Mothers Group, I decided to have my daughters 2nd birthday there. It was perfect! We didn 't have to worry about what the kids were getting up to, they were in a safe environment the parents could relax. After the kids had their fun, we went into the Hall for food and cake. The Busy Peacock is 'family party friendly '.. allowing us to bring our own food. It is such a great way to have a kids party, and it 's all at a super reasonable price! Highly recommend for weekly activities or birthday parties! All of the staff we dealt with were so lovely, helpful and friendly. A beautiful, family friendly business x
