Edelweiss - Harwood Heights

The food is excellent and the service is great! We were there a bit earlier in the evening on a Sunday, so not a lot of people yet. There was live music and it added a nice touch to the evening... not too loud. The portion sizes of each of our meals was ample which was wonderful because it warmed up very well for lunch the next day.

Great wait staff! It was a very busy night but service remained excellent. Live music/entertainment was a plus.

Beer was warm for both of us. However my beer glass was still warm and was apparently just taken out of the dishwasher. Pretzel was microwaved, but still cold as if was brought out of the fridge. The server never asked how things were. We didn't complain, however here we are now. The dessert was good.

What a cozy german restaurant! Food was delicious, especially the sauerkrat, red cabbage, bratwurst and beef stroganoff. Service was outstanding! We plan to make this a regular stop.

Amazing German food with a great service staff. My German father in law's favorite US restaurant. Best food this side of Munich.
