Bidrage med feedbackThis was originally a filiale des land ho in orleans. we went there once when it ran under this name, and it was true with its names on the street. when we went back a few years later, property and name had changed and the overall quality/atmosphere declined significantly. it is now a little more than a local pub/roadhouse. the menu is not as interesting as the land ho. service was slower, and eating was moderate.
We took us after drinking in the crowded bar, everything was fantastic, can not wait to go back.
Being on meds (from broken neck accident I asked bartender for non-alcoholic drink..and she made me a Virgen Painkiller ...ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! THANK YOU, LINDY!!!
We were greeted by a friendly server who made sure that the service was top notch. She was very attentive as well, and made sure our drinks were full. Our dinner was started off with very juicy and tender Beef Tips cooked medium rare) which had a hint of smoke from the grill marks. The Stuffed Quahogs had a hint of smoke from the chorizo sausage, and chunks of clams incorporated into the stuffing mix. The meatiness from the chorizo added a new element to the stuffing. The Chicken Tacos had lots of chicken and cheese which our son enjoyed immensely. The Mac'n' Cheese with Buffalo Chicken was a big hit with my wife. She loved the cheesiness from the Mac'n'Cheese, and the spicy buffalo sauce that coated the juicy chicken. The Cape Cod Reuben is a one-of-a-kind must try sandwich. Flaky cod that has been fried is topped with cheese, and surrounded with creamy cole slaw on toasted pumpernickel bread. A very delicious sandwich for either lunch or dinner.
This place is a Gem! I have only eaten here twice but both times the service was the best! Super friendly staff and the food is excellent at great prices!! I just had the best stuffed quahogs I've ever eaten and I've lived on the ocean all my life! Also try the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo....it's also a great dish! I'll be back again very soon! Probably for dinner tomorrow!
