The Pizza Guys - Hartlepool

Avoid ordering from this restaurant at all costs. I have experienced multiple issues with this establishment on numerous occasions. Despite promising a free order in the future to make up for their mistakes, they either claim it's not in their records or still expect you to pay the minimum charge. I have never encountered such poor customer service from a takeout restaurant. I am now at a loss due to missing items from my order, unless I spend more money with them. When I tried to address these issues with the owner, they were unhelpful and blamed the staff for not informing me of their policies. It is clear that the management of this restaurant is lacking, as they expect customers to know their procedures without proper communication from their employees.

The delivery took 1 hour and 40 minutes. There was no prior notification about the estimated delivery time and when I contacted the restaurant to inquire about the delay, the response was unfriendly.

I waited for 2 hours for a delivery on a Monday night. The portion of chips had garlic sauce on them, which I didn't like. The bolognaise on the pizza was bland and the chips tasted like they had been reheated. It was a waste of 30 pounds.

Never again! Been coming here occasionally over the last ten years but usually picked up rather than relying on delivery. Ordered on on a Saturday evening at 17:50 and advised one hour wait. After numerous calls to chase it finally turned up at 20:05 missing two portions of chips. Rang the shop again to be told they're unable to provide partial refunds but will take the cost off the next order. Pointed out I'll never order again and they said they'll deliver within the next hour which of course they didn't. I'm all for supporting local businesses but next time it'll be dominos I'm afraid.

Food took a long time to come, we had to chase the delivery after about 90 minutes of placing the order. When it arrived it was cold. Quality of food wasn’t very good, kebab meat was covered in too much garlic sauce that we could only taste garlic. All of the food was quite greasy. Disappointing takeaway which was quite expensive
