Really friendly and welcoming. Staff served with a smile and enjoyed the atmosphere. Will be back for a meal. A lovely local pub.

Had a late lunchtime cod, chips mushy peas. Well. cooked, crispy batter, good white fish. Very generous portions -I had been eying up one of the desserts, but I was too full! In spite of that, some bread and butter would have been a welcome accompaniment. Cod and chips lends itself to soft brown/white sliced bread/soft white bun/bap etc, but only a baguette was available. Pleasant, efficient service from Katie.

First visit on 29 November for family birthday lunch. Food was excellent. Portion sizes large and the quality of the food first class. Service very good. Will definitely come back. This and the Spotted Cow has the same quality food

I fairly regularly visit this welcoming pub, sampling the generous portions of food, the corn beef pie being a particular favourite of mine. The staff are always welcoming and I always leave with the intention of returning in the near future.

Been before but it's got new people running it. Great improvement and very clean. Food excellent and well worth a visit. Sean has some good ideas and you feel a warm welcome when you go through the door. Well Done Sean.
