Bidrage med feedbackI have been living in the area of 777 for a few years now and one of the highlights of my time here has been Dhaba Wala. I have been ordering from this restaurant on a weekly basis for over a year now. One of my favorite dishes is the Chana masala and I have tried it at many different places. Dhaba Wala's Chana masala is exceptional, one of the best I have ever had. I also appreciate that the menu clearly labels the plant-based items.
The restaurant's website emphasizes the importance of trust when it comes to handling food safely. However, during our visit, we observed concerning practices that raised doubts about the sanitation standards. For instance, we saw the cashier handling utensils without washing their hands and witnessed other unsanitary practices. Additionally, we experienced a long wait time, lack of water availability, and the restroom was out of service. The food was served in single-use plastic containers and styrofoam plates, which is prohibited in many areas. While the food itself was tasty, the questionable hygiene standards and use of environmentally harmful materials were disappointing. We hope the restaurant addresses these issues to ensure a safe and sustainable dining experience.
The website says that we have confidence in the people who treat our food is something that is easily taken for granted. we consider it as the highest form of a compliment, if someone trusts us to handle safely, the food they feed themselves and their loved ones, we naturally have another presentation of what it means to handle safely while we waited, I saw that the cassians picked up two forks without washing their hands, put one on the public counters, the others put on someone, and then put back one. that's unlived. we've been waiting for our food for almost half an hour. that would not be a big thing in a restaurant with table service, but this is a fast dining corner. there was no water readily available (self-service or offered), and the bathroom was out of service. our food finally came into used plastic containers with plastic spoons and plastic forks, which the cash register had touched with its unwashed hands. the worst we gave styrofoam plates! I had not even considered this possibility because styrofoam is forbidden in restaurants where I live. we returned the records, so hopefully they at least reused them since we had not. I'm sure this is against food treatment regulations, but so touching each other without washing the hands first. the food itself was good, but I'm worried about the sanitary service in the kitchen when I consider what I saw in the front. also I will not support restaurants I know using styrofoam.
Great place for Indian snacks, lunch and dinner; they know what they do, and the quality is constant and finely tuned to their preferences. it will be a normal one for me. keep them the excellent work kailash.
This is literally the only restaurant I go to Hartford. they can smell the arome of 2 roads away and they get so hungry only by going down the road! I love the butter chicken and the cadai chicken and I'm looking to get samosas for the next time because they look so good! also everyone works there so friendly and friendly. I had the most beautiful talks and some interesting deep talks there. I love all the dhaba wala experience. I had only recently met the owner who is such a sweet man! I come to dhaba wala.
