Padway's - Hartford

We arrived at 4:30 and were promptly seated, which was wonderful. We placed our order at 4:45 but unfortunately our food did not arrive until 5:45. This was a bit disappointing considering our table and two others were full. Our group consisted of 9 people, while the other two tables only had two people each.

We had reservations for an early dinner on New Year's Day. I ordered the beef Wellington and my husband ordered the royal nativity. Both dishes were excellent!

Sa for half an hour before we asked buses to find our waitress waited until she came “saying that she was just told that this was her table” although she was serving table right behind us, taking drinks orders, I saw her at the bar slot and finally flag her down (we were right next to bar and salad table next to window) I asked them to take our orders: 2 main ribs and soup, never asked how we cooked meat and pork chop with salad bar. We asked what was vegetable, she said corn, but all plates had beans.to wait too long again, 1 beer ordered (no beer glass) sat at the bar-slot until they had our food, meat lukewarm, no soups, she went back to the kitchen and brought her out, never said anything about salad bar that we enjoyed before the meat with our soups party badly offered.no dessert menu I'm sorry, I'm not recommending.

Good stuff, we weren't impressed. The food was hot, but average.

Awesome night with great music and an awesome view of the moon rising over the lake.
