Saravana Bhavan - HARROW

I recently returned to this restaurant after some time away because I was craving their food. We were promptly seated and the servers were friendly, helping us with our order. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious, all at a reasonable price. Overall, it was another positive experience!

Almost every Indian restaurant I have (serve meat) can make dishes without butter and only use oil, but not this chain vegetarian restaurant that is a great shame. I asked if they could make dishes vegan when they entered the place and they had to confirm what that actually means. I love a good healthy curry, but the food was too rich for me. On a positive note, although the left I was eating on the following evening was still nice (and actually easier to eat).

I ordered the business meal as the South Indian meal was not available. My son and my men meal came before, I had nothing to do with it, but my meal took sometime, I asked where is my meal, and the guy said the cook still does it. When it arrived, it looked good, but had a strange smell, but nothing out-puttin, but the taste was a little off, and finally I finished with a belly act, even when I wrote this review, I still have complications. This is not a bad place only that I ordered the wrong food and wanted to share my experience, my husband has the same problem, but my son has avoided the food and does well. Do not order the business meal. Overall, it was £39.99.

We have been here for several years and had no problems ordering vegan food. Dhosas are delicious. They also offer a variety of Jain dishes. Refilling Chutneys and Dal if necessary. Yum.
