Tico Tico - Harrogate

I am thrilled to see this restaurant revitalized. The new owner is fantastic, very friendly, and the food is excellent. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and the dishes are substantial without being too greasy. I will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has changed significantly from what it used to be. Prices have increased, and the pizza now has a completely different style with different dough and toppings. The garlic dip, which was once homemade, is now a cheaper alternative. Despite being a customer for over 20 years, I will not be returning. It is a disappointment.

I attempted to call the restaurant six times tonight to place an order for my wife and myself. When I drove by the store to check if it was open, I saw the staff standing around chatting with no customers. I tried calling again, but they ignored the phone. Needless to say, I decided to eat somewhere else.

Nice pizzas, good delivery times, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Really disappointed. I’ve used Tico Tico for over 30 years as it was our go to place for great pizzas. Sadly since the founder and original owner has retired it’s a shadow of what it was. Not long after changing hands ordered our usual pizza and it was very poor, a completely different product than before. Anyway, thought we’d give it another chance and sadly it’s still very poor. Obviously poor quality ingredients and I suspect bought in bases. Also ordered chicken which looked and tasted like it came from the likes of an Iceland supermarket. Most went in the bin. Very sad, was a real gem but we won’t be ordering again.
