Mashita Korean Inspired - Harrisonburg

Amazing food! I see why they made a whole restaurant after having a food truck. And for reasonable prices as well. We tried the squash special, steam buns, and fried dumplings. Only complaint is that we wish the servings were bigger so we could eat more! The carrot sake cocktail was delicious as well! Sweetened soy sauce paired excellent with the dumplings. Definitely the brisket also!

Mashita was absolutely amazing! We got the following in the pictures to share and were full after finishing it. The buns were so soft, and everything was a total flavor explosion! The sweet and spicy sauce is that good. A total hack is buying takeout and walking down to Sage Bird for a drink. We?ll be back soon! Had a wonderful lunch. 2 of us are vegans, 1 vegetarian 1 meat eater. We all found ourselves with great menu options, the food was delicious. The service was excellent. I enjoyed the food at the Mashita food truck, and I am so happy that their high standards for quality fresh ingredients has carried over into this lovely restaurant! Don't hesitate! Go to Mashita! You will wish you had gone sooner!

I can't believe how amazing the Korean Fried Chicken wings were... Impossibly crisp crunchy skin, tender juicy meat, and a sticky sweet spicy gochuchang sauce unlike anything I've had before. Best wings ever!

I didn't know pork could taste so good... Amazing food here! Pork belly and brisket are to die for! Good atmosphere and clean surroundings. Staff were very nice and helpful as well. Please don't pass up an opportunity to eat here. We got the kimchi fries, beef kimbap, and buns sampler- braised pork, brisket, and pork belly. 10/10 wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.
