Des Nordens - Harrislee

We were quite satisfied with our one night at the hotel. We used the pool and spa facilities both afternoon and morning and thought it was lovely. Although it was a bit confusing with changing and showering. But never mind. The room and the balcony were fine and the breakfast excellent. All in all we were happy with our stay.

Renovate. Choose for dinner. Upgrade breakfast buffet. Sponson's NO 4 stars justified.

Arrived the 70s charm paired with barracks flatter one in the eye. It looks almost like an American motel where Tarantino films could be filmed. The divided buildings smell muffy and emanate a youth hostel feeling, which we will find later during breakfast. After we had opened our room, we noticed that the door was opened once (Tarantino Flair). Spots on the carpet, view on parking, TV holder defective, uncomfortable much too soft beds guaranteed no 4star level. In addition, broken curtains and a continuous air train from the windows, heating defective. Brightness is also not worth 4 stars, because even the smallest noise of other guests is not lost. Therefore we got the departure of several guests in the morning between 3 and 4 a.m., as not only the car doors were closed. A campsite is quieter. In the morning at breakfast as on a resting place on the highway: loud, sweet and with the worst coffee in the world. The staff did not learn the greetings and worked very demotivated, at the reception we received memorized phrases with crochet smiles. The spa area was in another building. Here the camping flair brought us back when we were told, we should go over the parking lot with bathing clothes, towels etc... already on arrival we knew that the price was too high and the 4 stars did not fit this barracks hostel. This hotel doesn't see us again. The photos of the hotel do not fall on it in!!!

Very peaceful and good hotels. Problem is the connectivity to main town. Very limited bus connectivity. Gregory working at night was a very helpful person.

It is clear that this is a old hotel, the outside of the hotel could really use a makeover. However the room we had was nice and clean. It had a good size. The pool was really nice and it was cool that you can swim from the inside pool till the outside pool. The only bad thing was the wifi, the signal was poorly in our room and most of the time we had to use roaming. This is why I only give 3 stars.
