Antigua Bakery - Harlingen

Beautiful cozy place for lunch. the staff was incredibly friendly and the service was very fast. had the kicker sandwich and it was great. I had to skip the cheese and the speck for health reasons, but it was still amazing. the croissant was so soft and fluffy. the minenstrone soup was full of sweetness and the pasta salad was one of the best I had. also the carrot cake and the kahlua cake were excellent. I would recommend trying this place if they can.

Great place for a turnkey lunch. the decor is a little kitchy, but tasteful, the mood they get when going into the house of their grandmother. very warm and welcoming. every time I'm here, I had good service and never had a long wait. the soups offered by them vary depending on the day. their portobello mushroom soup is for to die! they offer a lot of sandwiches, wraps, suppen and salads, oh and don't forget to try some of their dessert!

First experience was great. the food was delicious and definitiw on the square. it is such a homie and unique atmosphere too. place was clean and well kept just wish that there was a bit more parking space. I had the brokkoli and cheese soup to begin and the sriracha chicken on the flatbread with the quinoa salat. very delicious! the icy jamaikatee was a great pairing as it was fresh and not too sweet. So I will certainly go back, but these initial standards and hope for the great experience will be retained.

Eating is delicious, it is comfortable and the staff is friendly and attentive. will return definitiw.

I will definitely be back! I got the Sampler; the quiche was excellent, the nutty salad is fresh and crispy, the chicken salad was delicious and the fresh fruit just brings the plate all together! You have to try their homemade desserts!!
