Bidrage med feedbackWe were shopping in Market Harborough decided o stop here for lunch as the rain was getting heavier. We found a table then studied the menu decided on 2 panini’s with 2 Pepsis which we ordered at the bar. After less than 10 minutes the food arrived was piping hot well presented. It also tasted good was good value for money. If you want a quick bite to eat then I would highly recommend the sugar loaf if you are in market Harborough.
Visited on a lovely sunny day so thought we’d sit out in the beer garden. We thought it odd that not many people were sitting out there, but soon realised why….loud monkey chatter and other bizarre noises were intermittently being blasted out of the speakers. I’m not sure if this is to scare off the birds, but the pigeons on the roof didn’t budge. Alas we couldn’t bare the noise and went inside. What a shame the beer garden is almost unusable especially as I’d mentioned this in a previous review last year.
The food was extremely good especially considering the price. Under £12.00 for a main course and a drink. We had chicken and chips and steak and chips. Both well cooked.
Awful. Chef definitely not taking pride in anything. Breakfast arrived with apologies for no syrup for pancakes. Realised there was also no maple cured bacon. Hmmm. Asked for some and it came. Grey, flabby and stone cold. All food was tepid. Eggs undercooked and snotty. Cheap yes. Horrified to read other reviews mentioning ‘multicultural hellholes’ and it must be a real kick in the nuts when even the racists are giving you two stars. The staff were nice tho!
Blast of cool air from temp machine in ceiling meant two tables below were empty! Apart from that, again a wetherspoons revival of an historic building, good for them.
