Sushiya - Hanover

I just love her salmon teriyaki sticky rice! The Bibimbap is also very beautiful!

The only place in Hanover for Sushi/Sashimi and Korean. The sushi is not close to being really good, but good enough if you long the stuff and make careful decisions. The service is slow, they seem somewhat overwhelmed, although they are only open to takeout. A tip to get the most out of their sushi is to avoid late hours because they really fall the ball with sushi construction later on the day. The Korean is good, the raven is not. Some of my favorites here: the combos are all good. Among the individual articles, tuna, yellow tail, escolar and salmon are good choices for nigiri, maki or sashimi. Also the Tuna-Scaleion-Maki and Boston-Maki are good, and the California-Maki and there are variations okay. All Eel-based articles are good, and the Kodol-Bibimbap is quite great.

I can update my review if I return (and I will) and try the Korean elements. I feel like the one where they probably seem the brightest. All I had during this visit was the sushi that wasn't too bad. I mean, the reels were good, but the yellow tail nigiri was a little bit fishy, making me restless. The salmon was okay. I enjoy the tormented salmon. Great. I've swallowed all the Korean pickles they served before. I'd like to try their rams. The service was very nice. I enjoyed my visit and will try some other articles.

Pretty good experience. Very nice ambiance and good variety of food. Fairly priced and super delicious. Service is variable. Sometimes it's fast and they're super nice (bring a Korean), but sometimes it's crowded, they're understaffed, and forget stuff. Best if you want high quality Korean food!

I absolutely adore dining at SushiYa with my family! The sushi is both tasty and innovative. The standout item on the sushi roll menu is definitely the Super Dragon Roll - it's simply amazing! I also enjoy sampling the Korean dishes, as there is nothing else like it in the Upper Valley. Even my two year old son loves the Half Udon noodle bowl with broccoli, veggie tempura, and steamed veggie gyoza. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient. Without a doubt, we will be returning to SushiYa time and time again!
